In fact, in addition to these, there are many other commonly used methods in our production and processing process, namely oil-water mixing and phase inversion emulsification.
The oil-water mixing may seem a little tedious, but in fact, it is more convenient to operate. Although the operation will be carried out in several containers, it is more convenient if it is carried out in the flow line. Because this method is to separate the oil phase and water phase in two containers first, the lipophilic emulsifier can be used to dissolve in the oil phase, the hydrophilic emulsifier can be dissolved in the water phase, and the two phases obtained can be added to the third container in a small amount and alternate form for emulsification. If one phase has been added in the process of adding, then the other phase will be added to the container in the way of fine flow. In the flow system, generally the two phases will be poured into the emulsification equipment system in the correct proportion, so it does not need to spend too much energy, nor is it as complicated as imagined.
