The Emulsification Effect Depends On These Four Points

Emulsification is the mixing of two immiscible liquids, such as oil and water, to evenly disperse one substance into the other, forming a relatively stable liquid-liquid dispersion system.
1、 Types of emulsifying machines
There are three main types of emulsification machines: emulsification mixer, homogenizer, and emulsification grinder. The emulsification effect achieved by different types of emulsifiers varies.
Emulsion mixer mainly uses the mechanical energy provided by the mixing system to achieve the effect of mixing materials. The lotion produced in this way has poor dispersion, large particles, and poor stability. However, the manufacturing process of such equipment is simple, and the price will be cheaper.
Both homogenizer and emulsion grinder use high-speed rotating stator and rotor structure to deform and break the crude liquid into micro droplets, and the prepared lotion has good dispersion and stability.
2、 Emulsification time
Emulsification time will affect the quality of lotion. The length of emulsification time is determined according to the ratio of oil-water phase, the viscosity of two phases and the viscosity of lotion, and the dosage, type of emulsifier, emulsification temperature and other factors.
3、 Emulsification temperature
The emulsification temperature has a significant impact on the emulsification effect. The emulsification temperature is usually determined by factors such as the melting point of high melting point substances in the oil-water phase, the solubility of the two phases, and the type of emulsifier.
It is worth noting that the temperature should be kept close before mixing the two phase raw materials, such as adding low-temperature water to the wax oil with higher temperature, which will precipitate the wax, resulting in rough and uneven lotion, greatly affecting the emulsification effect.
4、 Mixing speed
The stirring speed also has a significant impact on the emulsification effect. If the stirring speed is too low, the mixing effect will not be achieved. Excessive stirring speed can easily generate bubbles, which can affect the quality of the final product.
The emulsification tank is equipped with a high shear homogenizer and a counter rotating wall scraping agitator to ensure good mixing effect;
Equipped with a vacuum system, it can create a vacuum degree of -0.093MPa in the emulsification tank, effectively eliminating the generation of bubbles;
Adopting sandwich electric heating method, heat transfer is uniform, temperature control accuracy is high, and cooling water can also be connected for cooling;
A large number of protective mechanisms are installed inside the equipment to minimize the risk of personal injury and accidental damage to the equipment.
