The high shear homogenizer is mainly composed of a plunger pump, a combined pump body and a homogenizing valve. The function of the plunger pump is to suck liquid materials with a certain viscosity into the pump body and pressurize the materials. The pressure regulating device allows the material to pass through the homogenizing valve under a specific pressure. "Homogenization" refers to the refining and uniform mixing process of materials in the homogenization valve.
Specifically, the plunger pump sucks the raw materials at a low speed of 0.25-0.5 M / s, and regulates the pressure of the homogenization system through a pressure regulating device connected to the homogenization valve. the plunger pump pressurizes the material, for example, to 40MPa. Since the flow rate of the material liquid sucked in and pushed out by the plunger pump is relatively stable, the pressure of the whole system can be controlled as long as the gap between the valve seat and the valve core, also known as the opening degree, is controlled. The smaller the gap between the valve seat and the valve core, the higher the pressure of the system, and the higher the flow rate of materials passing through the valve seat and the valve core. The flow rate at 60MPa is as high as about 300m / s.
